This is atrocious. Interest rates hikes at a time in history when so many
are forced to lose their homes and replace them/repair them, etc.

Many cannot get an SBA loan for whatever reason. Having interest rate hikes
is not in the interest of the American people at this time--especially to
those who were victimized by Katrina. Perhaps there should have been a
blanket rate freeze by the our dearly beloved President <smile>...during the
kickstart period. It just doesn't make sense to pass around the nails and
hammers for coffins of the hurt and down-and-outs..
