I guess I put the gris-gris on everyone by mentioning the drought today!  By
noon I noticed many locations in the neighborhoods where water was still
standing from curb to curb because of blocked drains. 
This was about a 2 inch rain, or so I heard on the radio. If we get a
serious all day deluge that usually comes each spring, some properties willl
probably get rainwater in them if these drains aren't cleaned out. The
canals and ditches were flowing well.
