Hey Jim,
 
Unfortunately, the map does not give you your specific elevation so if you
are using it to determine your ground or house elevation, it may be loosely
accurate, but not specific to nail down your elevation.

If you go to the FEMA website for the Map Service Center (www.msc.fema.gov)
and you create a FIRMETTE and it shows the elevation of your area is this
not sufficient or do you have to have a specific elevation survey done for
the property itself?
 
As I said before, it seems that FEMA, the government wants to say it's okay
to rebuild but they want to nickel and dime you to death until you get tired
of all the hoop-jumping, never knowing which is the last hoop!!
