We requested this for several months.  The answer is just now being resolved
and the site location and preparation is being done and is anticipated
opening in the next week or so.  Really ambitious residents can take it
directly to River Birch Landfill, but will have to pay a fee to dump it.

around for weeks and saving parish/FEMA funds for hauling it away. If
Orleans can do this, why can't St. Bernard Parish have a site for its
citizens to bring new construction debris?  Jefferson did it to, and maybe
still is.
