[StBernard] Razing drive to start in Meraux

Craig, what I am asking is not if free demolitions are available to all in
ANY CONDITION.

I'm asking about the determination process (in my case: damaged 30-60% by
FEMA at the onset). Is this rating considered damaged enough so that it
would require mandatory demolition or a fix-up job? Are most homeowners
gauging their decision to demolish by that rating? Also, would this rating
be used as to help make a decision to raze it? Everyone in my neighborhood
and Chalmette had at least 8-10 feet of water it seems. For the most part,
they should be equally as ruined as submitted by FEMA in paying claims as
100% destroyed.

Jer,

Because of the amount of damage from the storms, virtually anyone who
desired to have their home demolished, could do so.
