I could not agree more with your assessments of Mitch Landrieu, daddy Moon,
and big sister Mary.  The decline of the city started with Moon, and it has
continued its downward fall.  Although Mitch had some extremely effective
television ads, the one thing he could not answer is "what has he
accomplished in his years of public service"?  He never did mention anything
specific.  Did you notice that on election night that Mary stayed out of the
limelight because she wanted to avoid being associated with her loser of a
brother.  Yes, he has his eyes set on being governor (God help us), but
knows that he can't win unless he runs against a nobody - Hey,my mistake -
he could run against our present governor because she is as worthless as
they come. 
 
Just as the people in Mass. seem to delight in keeping the Kennedy's in
power, there are those in the city that think that they Landrieu family is
New Orleans' gift to politics.  Why?  If someone has a reasonable answer, I
would love to hear it.
