The guard is not tasked to us for ongoing recovery efforts.  They have been
reassigned for some months now.  There are a couple of guardsmen still
working in office capacities.  The response to the guard not being here is
that it is not part of their mission.

We can send them immediately to guard our  fences in Mexico, but not help
TAX PAYING citizens get on with their lives..
 
 If we could get 10 houses a week bulldozed we could have 100 new houses
beginning to rebuild over the next few months....
