I can't find any information on the internet, but I'm also only looking
while I'm at work. I do specifically remember that on WWL they ran a story
that one or two of the senators (can't remember who) strongly opposed the
deduction of insurance and proposed the admendment. Then they said that the
House voted unanimously for it and it was tacked on and passed the House.
Then it went back to the Senate. that was the last I heard of it. I couldn't
find any concrete information, but like I said, I'm not searching that well.
All I keep finding is that its in the Senate so they could vote on "new
language added in by the House". I'll keep looking and let you know when I
find anything. With our luck, if the darn thing passes, we'll have to pay
the government to buy our houses.

Where did you get this info? Walter Leger was saying just two days ago
that they were going to deduct all insurance proceeds.
