Laurie,

Feeling your pain, my boyfriend's house caught/or was set on fire back in
January. Since his Katrina claim wasn't finished, they have held up fire
claim. AND, to make matters worse, his claim has been put into "special
investigations" because now it is a "huge loss." Here's the kicker, he has
spent all of 2 hours talking to neighbors, one said that entergy was on the
pole firing up Fema trailers when his house went up in at around 10am. Then
another neighbor said that they have seen people in the house at night with
flash lights in his house, they have called the police and of course no one
shows up. Then someone was found in the person's house next door living
there in February. He went to arbitration today and I guess he won because
they are reevaluating his claim and now pulling it from the investigations
unit. This La Fair plan is doing just about anything not to pay. Not that
I'm happy for your loss, but I'm glad the he isn't the only one to suffer a
fire loss and I might need to call you later.

Wendy

Lisa, This happened to my house in Lexington place also. I mean the broken
windows, not the paint. It's very distrubing. Someone threw bricks through
my windows. One or two windows were broken by the storm but now they are all
busted out. Someone tried to start a fire in another one of our properties.

Laurie
