I doubt she received 20 grand to repair a mobile home.  The maximum amount
FEMA will give anyone to repair a home is just over $5,000.  Any monies over
that amount are to replace damaged goods (clothes, beds, etc).

I am more amazed at the 20 grant from Fema to 'repair' a mobile home. 
Of course we were turned down for a grant, even though we were underinsured.
Know a renter who is now on welfare, who got 10 grant. Welfare pays for his
stay in an institution, so no rebuilding. Weird. 
That is basically why I quit counting on any federal money. Got to keep
working and struggling, and if anything extra comes, ok. If not, I live on
the floor of a sandy dusty sheetrocked house.
