another rumor- in the expanded footprint the debris contractor has been
picking up debris approved by FEMA.

Please tell me that it is just another rumor that the parish has taken
responsibility of removing debris from homes in the "spill zone".  The only
good thing about being in the spill zone was the fact that debris was
removed every three weeks, rather than sitting there for months as is the
case in other areas throughout the parish.  If true, what is the basis for
this decision?  Can it be that the parish receives more federal dollars
under their control?  If so, where is the money going considering that we
haven't had trash removed from the neutral grounds in over a month?
