This was a process followed early on to get any input from the planning
commission- it did not mean approval-  There was no change in the decision
making.  This is how misinformation spreads- nowhere in the minutes did it
say there was an approval.

 Concerning the below minutes,  I thought that Village Square wasn't going
to be re-developed.  Has this changed ?  Looks like it from the approval
vote from the Council.  Again,  ever changing decisions.

        On motion of Mrs. Hoffmeister, seconded by Mr. Henderson, it was
moved to send to the Planning Commission the request for redevelopment of
the following multi-family dwellings as requested by owner Hassie D. Howell:


                a.  521 Oak Tree Lane, Chalmette, 8 plex
                b.  404 Palm Avenue, Chalmette, 8 plex
                c.  401 Palm Avenue, Chalmette, 4 plex
                d.  405 Palm Avenue, Chalmette, 4 plex




        The above and foregoing having been submitted to a vote, the vote
thereupon resulted as follows: 
        YEAS:   Madary, Hoffmeister, Henderson, Di Fatta, Taffaro and
Melerine. 
        NAYS:   None. 
        ABSENT: None. 
        The Chairman, Mr. Dean, cast his vote as YEA. 
        
        And the motion was declared adopted on the 2nd day of May, 2006.
