[StBernard] Distribution to influencial people

Yes, Wes. "Bureaucracy" has a way of confusing the issue, complicating the
less complicated in such a way as a simple call or e-mail can be buried in a
sea of paper, not unlike the mounds of trash and debris we've experienced
these many months. In government, who wishes to "stop da show" or slow down
a train of bureauacracy with a piece of e-mail? Adding ideas which won't
benefit the "honorable" recipient is hopeless, especially during these
trying times.

If there is mail that expresses our ideas, hopes, desires and "basic
necessities, coupled with human and inheritant, inalienable rights--it's
expressed in this forum because we chose it to be orderly and functional. If
influential people as our legislators, etc. were given access to this forum
through a maillist to them, they would understand that much more as we
certainly represent an honest, "representative sampling" of St. Bernard
citizens--inhabitants and misplaced. I consider it a good measure of our
plight up to and beyond recovery.

Get them to read our thoughts and prayers here and we could make a small, if
not significant dent in the thought process of those who can make the
significant difference to hurting people.

Remember, the fight isn't over - until it's over.

Sure. If anyone knows how to get through to them. My calls to their
offices usually seem to fall on deaf ears.
