Westley - this article appeared in yesterday's Washington Post travel
section.  Don't know if you want to post it or not but thought I would pass
it on.  Talks about volunteering at the hippie tent and how much more needs
to be done  Just as an fyi, FEMA determined that there was not enough damage
due to  the recent flooding in the D.C. area to become involved. The Corp of
Engineers were not involved either and only offered their opinion about a
privately built levee (which held; however, the developer is draining the
lake and rebuilding the levee to a better standard so that homeowner's will
not be at risk).  Rather a shame that the Federal Government didn't get a
first-hand and  on-site look at the competency level of both those agencies.
