[StBernard] Get Together

Westley, I think your idea of a get together is a great one.  I think if you
are trying to reach everyone, St. Bernard would be the place it should be.
It would also be a good time for those who have been away to come and see
progress made and really find out what is going on.
 
Having been a part of getting a small group together in Livingston Parish,
we found it was easier to just post the time and place and let everyone
bring their own food, etc.  We could not take the chance on losing anything
on catering without payment up front.  We ended up with as few as 6 people
at one time and as many as 300 at another.
 
What we did find was that people just wanted to visit and have some place
for their kids to play.  The biggest thing was it was so good to be amongst
others whom you could speak with and who all had shared the same tragedy and
really understood.
