[StBernard] Deadlines

Hi Craig,
I do believe in setting deadlines on property; although, I feel the Aug. 29
deadline is to soon for all homes to have windows and doors. It is fair to
say everyone should have their homes gutted and grass cut. The parish still
has hundred of totaled cars in the streets and boats are where they should
not be. I don't feel I should be fined for not having windows and doors
when more than half of my block has yet to gut their homes. Only two or
three people are maintaining their lawns. My home is gutted and my door
ways are boared up and my grass is cut weekly. I think making sure all
homes are gutted and all junk cars and boats are removed is the first step
to the rebuilding process. It is not very incouraging when only two or
three people on a block have do anything to their property. My neighborhood
is do deserted someone is always breaking windows on the homes. I never see
anyone patroling the area! I want to rebuild and thing the first step
should be to make sure homes are gutted and grass cut before windows and
doors... One thing at a time afterall we are use to things moving slow.
Thanks for letting me vent.
I still care about St. Bernard and it will always be home to me!!!!!!!!!!

Rob
