FEMA no longer in Chalmette Disaster Recovery Center

The Federal Emergency Management Administration has left the Disaster
Recovery Center in Chalmette, a St. Bernard Parish government news release
says.

St. Bernard Parish residents seeking FEMA assistance must visit the FEMA
center at 219 Loyola Ave. in New Orleans, which is the New Orleans Public

Monday through Saturday.

Chalmette's Disaster Recovery Center, located at 8101 W. Judge Perez Drive,
will still house a Small Business Administration Outreach Center, the news
release said. The SBA center is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The SBA will provide disaster assistance
information and conduct loan closings for disaster victims.

the FEMA Helpline at 1-800-621-3362. Hearing- or speech-impaired individuals
may call TTY 1-800-462-7585.
