Craig:

I would like to suggest that the parish web-site be updated each week to
include a section identifying what streets were cleaned of debris during the
preceding week, and what streets are scheduled for the upcoming week or two.
I believe that this would provide everyone with some piece of mind knowing
what actions have occurred, and more importantly, when everyone will know
when their debris will be picked up.

Will Murphy continue its clean-up efforts in the spill zone area, or will
this debris also be the responsibility of the parish? I ask this because
when I visited Murphy this past Monday to complain about the length of time
it has been between clean-up of Campagna, Corinne, and Charles Drive, I was
informed that debris in the spill zone IS the responsibility of the parish.
I informed them that based on the weeks that have passed by between clean-up
efforts, obviously Murphy was waiting for the parish to take over, once
again leaving the parish residents out in the cold.

I see a lot of activity, but I have to question the logic of some of the
pick-ups. For example, the house located at the corner of Gallo and Genie
has been demolished and sitting there for over six weeks. Genie street is
used more frequently than other streets, excluding St. Bernard Highway and
Judge Perez Drive, so an effort should be made to remove that debris as
quickly as possible.

These are my questions/opinions, and any information that you can share
would be greatly appreciated.
