	Deborah,
	I don't think it could be said better than Westley did.  However,
here are my thoughts:
	 
	Do we know if there are any possible revenue streams for the parish
such as severance taxes or anything that would be payable to St. Bernard?
I'd say that *might* be the only reason for wanting to allow this.
	 
	The Meraux Foundation has done very little for the parish since the
storm.  Why did the Saudi's have to have a linen giveaway or pots'n pans
giveaway?  Why couldn't the foundation have done those things or others.  
	 
	Westley is correct:  The "Board" is made up of thugs and thieves,
one with the honorable title of Sheriff.  I prefer to call him "Landslide
Jack".
