Sue, I brought this up on numerous occasions and thus far, no one's got the
answers either on Westley, NOLA, etc.
However, my attorney says to file right away because we've 3 weeks to do so.
It appears that there will be no "delays" for insurance companies of
magnatude to budge the date.
Strange is that my attorney did not offer to take the case of "insurance
justification" for me, as though it would be a losing cause for him and a
"contingency" fee where he'll work and receive his take IF there is a
judgement for the plaintiff. (me). I'm assuming that he feels there's little
hope to do this as a private attorney, that the only effort would become
more fruitful by joining a class-action suit.
The question: Is there a class-action suit ongoing with State Farm?
AllState? If so, does anyone have the contact info as he suggested I get
started immediately while there is still time to protect one's right??
What say ye, gang? So many of us were slammed. I for one have not used the
power of litigation but once. Thanks for the info.
Thanks, --jer--

As we all should be aware the year anniversary is fast approaching and we
need to get our claims in. Now I know that the insurance Commissioner has
strongly requested that the company's wavier this and so far the only two
big company's I see on the list is the fair plan and Fidelity. Now my
question is ! Is this only for homeowners insurance. Is flood different do
we have a longer period on flood and what if it is a flood claim but you
need to sue your agent.
So many question and very little answers. Sue
