Tanya,

at this point, the thing you should checking is if there is actually crude
in the pool- if not, you can probably get away with pumping enough water
into the drainage that the sludge does not create a problem- be aware that
if sludge is dumped into the drainage system and not flushed out, it
potentially creates drainage problems. If there is crude sludge then it
probably needs to be brought to Murphy's attention since it can't be dumped
into the drainage system, legally.

Good luck and God Bless,
Craig

Does anyone know if there is a special process that needs to be taken when
cleaning in-ground pools in the oil zone? I have contacted a pool company
but they are concerned there may be issues about pumping the pool out into
the sewer system in the oil area.

If that is an issue, how does one get around it? Any help or information
would be appreciated. Thanks.

Tanya
