You'll be fine.  The only issue that you would have is if your house was
built before 1975 and you were more than 50% damaged.

We have had gas lines pressure tested and permit turned in on that.
 
I am now waiting on electrician to go to house tomorrow (Wed.) to see what
all needs to be done and what they can do for basics w/out doing entire job
before we get down there, yet enough to file permits.
 
Will that be enough for us to be grandfathered in?  We are on Meadowlark Dr.
