I noticed many more houses on Meraux Lane cleaned out (some even gutted) and
weeds cut or burnt with chemicals since the deadline approached. I am sure
the debris pick up will be  slower again as there are more piles to be
picked up now. I do hopw that the people will continue to keep the weeds cut
and did not only do it for the one time deadline.
