situation here with MRGO.  MR GO Gotta Go!!!!!

	In addition to suing the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Bernard
Parish

	and the other plaintifs should also sue The Port of New
Orleans!!!!!!!!! 

	
	

	The MRGO or any other federal project can not exist unless there is
a local

	sponsor. In the case of the MRGO the Port of New Orleans is the
local

	sponsor. They are just as liable for the death and distruction the
MRGO has

	caused as is the Corps of Engineers.

	
	

	The irony in all of this is that the Port of New Orleans is an
agency of the

	State of Louisiana. The Port through the Corps of Engineers has been
using

	our tax dollars to dredge the very channel that is destroying our
wetlands.

	At the same time the State is asking for taxpayer money from the
federal

	government to restore our wetlands. 

	
	

	The people need to wake up to what has been going on here.

	
	

	The Port of New Orleans and the State of Louisiana are just as
liable as the

	Corps of Engineers.
