[StBernard] sounds we love to hear

When I recalled the first few visits "home", besides the devastation, there
was the eerie sound of silence. Not a bird, not a dog, not a car, not a
child playing. Dead silence. 

 These past few weeks I really appreciated the sounds that I wondered one
year ago if I would ever hear again in St. Bernard Parish:

A lawnmower cutting grass
Children laughing
Saws cutting 
Hammers nailing
Dogs barking
An owl hooting in the backyard and morning doves cooing
Squirrels running on top the fences
People taking their evening stroll
A school bus 
A garbage truck 
A postal truck
A furniture delivery truck
