Unified New Orleans Plan Assists
in Large-Scale Rebuilding of New Orleans

The Unified New Orleans Plan (UNOP) was founded to meet New Orleans' large
scale infrastructure needs as a part of the greater rebuilding plan of the
city. UNOP aims to bring resources to communities needing additional support
and to incorporate their plans, along with neighborhood plans already
completed, into a city-wide master plan.

Upon completion, the infrastructure plan will be submitted to the City
Planning Commission, the City Council, the Mayor's Office and then onto the
Louisiana Recovery Authority (LRA). The LRA will then use this plan to guide
the investment of federal funds to being the strategic rebuilding of
communities in Orleans Parish.
