DEQ, Contractors to Expand Car, Boat-towing Procedure to Private Property

The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and DRC, the contractor in
charge of towing cars and vessels damaged by the hurricanes, are expanding
the process to private property. Up to now, the state and its contractor
have towed more than 10,000 cars and recreational boats from the public
right of way.
