Yep, it's always time to crow when on top, so please do so as it makes
people better. <smile>..

However, I'd like to know why it's always conservatives who are "sleeze and
corrupted"? Was this a given right by our Lord or a sacramental privilege?
<chuckle>..

Regarding the war, no one wants it or likes it. Death and taxes as mentioned
are also unpopular - but necessary.

Regarding Charlie Melancon, there were as many undesirables who rolled the
dice on him. (Although I'm not a Romero fan and love Italians, he was the
lesser of evils). With respect to who has his pockets more filled and
bulging love handles from special interests and "do-4-me" and "I'll do-4-U",
I can't honestly say who in local, national or state government are ahead of
the game with graft. Take your choice and perhaps you'd be as right as the
one you didn't choose.

Oh, politics are the order of the day on listservs everywhere. Since when
are they confined to mosquitoes, rats and grass cutting? Makes it
interesting to hear what's natural in the news these days.

Oh, it's not lop-sided, it's opinionated in both political camps, but
perhaps it's time to let the liberals crow with the conservative talk shows
and supporters "watchdogs" eyeing the new administration for the next 2 yrs.
It's natural and no one expects any political party to be in power for a
century. It's always a good thing to have new blood from time to time.
"Bleeding or blood-letting" has always helped drain impurities (whether it
be corruption as was mentioned or an adulterer in office). Hey, now we'll
get to see if the ratical liberals can do as well <g>...

Hopefully, time will make things moderate, but if the pendulum swings to far
to the left, perhaps the blade should fall and heads would properly roll.
