Yes, it is indeed a pity. 

I suppose many from St. Bernard will be unable to remodel, rebuild,
refinance or afford insurance in St. Bernard because of these financial
quirks. I know I couldn't. Since 80% of St. Bernard is in the same
situation, I also suspect than many more will be migrating to higher land
where insurance won't triple or be inpossible, prices of housing lower and
where safety is desired. --MJ.

 Now I will have to fight with the LRA. Received my letter today, cost to
fix my house 219,000 pre Katrina price 109,000 -30,000 for insurance total
reward 79,000. This is on 1655 SQ. FT house 4bedrooms, 2 baths , kitchen,
living room, Den, laundry room total 10 rooms under one roof all brick .
Will this never stop. How can they take 110,000 away this is suppose to make
us whole. How can someone build a house for this?
