[StBernard] Property Taxes for 2006

Do we still have to call the Sheriff's office even tho we went personally
down there to the assessor's office and gave our new address, phone #, etc?
I don't understand why the tax info is not put on the Gov't website, or have
we missed something????
 
Have been reading all the emails that is going on in St. Bernard, insurance
problems, etc.  It is very difficult for the younger people, much less for
the older.  God bless all of you.  May you see some light at the end of the
tunnel soon.  We are only thankful that we made the very difficult decision
to relocate even tho we have lived in Chalmette for many, many years.

you need to call the sheriffs office at 271-2504 and give them your new
address. they told me that i am exempt for 06 so will not receive anything
in the mail this year, but will be taxed next year and will receive a bill.
