MY PROBLEM is that in our area, most everyone has rebuilt (we only had 5
feet water on Bayou Road) and there are neighbors living in FEMA trailers,
allowing out of town relatives to live there, come and go, their kids
friends, etc., and they received insurance money, FEMA grants, unlike us who
were not even required flood insurance, have spent all our own money and an
SBA loan, have not done a thing to their house but blow it at the casino
every other day.  In the meantime, we are breaking our #$% to bring things
back and we have to live with the stench of rotting materials and hazards of
vermin, termintes and critters in their abandoned homes; in fact we have put
up an 8 foot cedar fence so we don't have to look at it.  Ms Simms
