Does anyone have the facts as to whether those homes damaged from the Murphy
Oil Spill will have a negative/positive effect on the sum of money received
from the Road Home Program? Many are wondering whether the Oil Spill
settlement will be deducted from their Road Home settlement.

Talking with the Road Home people say they aren't aware of this Murphy issue
and the Murphy Claims Service says they are only concerned with settlement
and not what they believe the Road Home project would do.

At one time, the "gov" and/or officials was attempting to get the Murphy Oil
situation considered as a separate incident from the storm. Howevever, no
word on whether there is a deduction from the payout to Road Home settlement
recipients.

Any heard positive news where there is no impact, any money adjusted for
property damage vs. home damage/contents adjustments? Not knowing is enough
for causing people to drink and drive <not funny>...
