Wendy-
Let me apologize then...I definitely misunderstood what you were saying.
That's easy to do in e-mail, I've discovered.
I really don't know who to believe about the jet fuel and whether or not it
burned away immediately or if it stuck around for a few days...I guess it
depends on which 'expert' you ask. Even if it did burn off immediately,
there were plenty of other toxic substances burning to make anyone at the
site sick.
I just saw a report on cnn.com tonight about the rescue dogs and that at
least a third of them have died since September 11, 2001.
It's truly sad that our own government (EPA) lied about the safety of Ground
Zero. All of those wonderful and courageous people who were among the
rescue/recovery workers are now paying the price for that deception.
I know you weren't belittling them and I apologize if that is how my e-mail
came across. That wasn't my intention.
THANK YOU for being a part of the gumbo crew who went up there to feed our
guys (and girls) during that period...I'm sure that they felt the 'love'
from the New Orleanians...And, I'm sure they LOVED the food! <laughing>
Again, I apologize for misunderstanding what exactly it was that you were
saying. Thanks so much for clarifying.
