Covington PD: Burglary Suspect Took Credit Cards From Cars

COVINGTON, La. - Covington police said a 42-year-old man charged with
burglary could be linked to other crimes. David Palmisano was taken into
custody Monday afternoon. Investigators said they identified him by watching
videotape of places that he used stolen credit cards. 

The cards were stolen from two vehicles on 14th Avenue, police said. 

Palmisano's truck was seized, and some stolen items were found inside. 

He faces charges of unauthorized used of an access card, illegal possession
of stolen property and two counts of simple burglary. 

He was placed in the St. Tammany Parish Jail.
