Recovery Corps commits $6.4 million to
New Orleans area families
Funds dedicated to support housing, household needs and
youth empowerment programs

NEW ORLEANS, La. -- In its continued commitment to the human recovery of Greater New Orleans, the Louisiana Family Recovery Corps (Recovery Corps) has invested an additional $6.4 million to the city through funds available for working families at the Welcome Home Center and in grants to the Dryades YMCA and ACORN New Orleans. This follows the Recovery Corps' existing commitment of over $15 million to the human recovery effort of Greater New Orleans. The investment was announced today at the New Orleans Welcome Home Center by Recovery Corps CEO Raymond A. Jetson, who was joined by local leaders and elected officials.

"The Louisiana Family Recovery Corps has funded these initiatives so that our working families can get a hand-up to restore their households and our children have the opportunity to participate in programs that keep them off the streets while teaching them essential life skills," said Raymond A. Jetson.
