ACT Calls for Road Home Investigation 

All Congregations Together (ACT), a consortium of local churches, began a
public campaign calling for a federal investigation of the contract between
the state and ICF International, the company hired to administer billions of
dollars in storm recovery aid through the Road Home program. ICF's contract
is worth up to $756 million. ACT is upset with the pace of the payouts to
people who applied for assistance through the program. The group noted that
at the current pace of payouts, it would take the company until 2028 to
complete the job. ICF has said it is only complying with the program's
fraud-prevention rules set up by the state.
