They said that our meter was read in early September.  My husband told the
lady that she was liar and she said that their reader was out to my house on
a specific date in early Sept. (we documented the exact date).  My husband
told her that he would not pay it.  We received this bill in Feb. or Mar.
after the storm and after we paid what they said was our outstanding bill.
So if they charged it off, what did they charge off  and shouldn't we get
our past payments out since that's double dipping?  This is getting more and
more outrageous.
