the adoption is set for April 3 with a 60 or 90 day implementation period
which will be decided at the meeting on the 20th.  FEMA has said that the
ICC funds become available upon implementation.
 
The decision about the implementation period will be influenced by the new
FIRM information being released, among other things.

Since you've been so helpful to me in the past, answering my questions and
giving me guidance, I have one question, and hopefully for you, the last
question ;-)
 
Is there an approximate date on when St. Bernard Parish will adopt the ABFE
thingie?  
 
I'm trying to have my slab demo'ed and have my ICC pay for it, but was told
because STBP has not adopted the ABFE that ICC won't cover it.  If however,
STBP does adopt it, I'll be entitled to ICC coverage.
