Craig, was there any truth to the supposed 200K that was rec'vd for the
shelter?

Are you saying funds were rec'vd, but not allowed to come before the council
for disbursement?  What happened to these funds?

	dug into the Animal Shelter issue- LASPCA and ASPCA have been
training staff
	to work in the animal shelter; the council has already approved the
	Archetect and Engineering work for the animal shelter, but then it
sits in
	the administrative process to get it done. There were donated funds
	received early on after the storm that never made it to the council
for
	approval and mostly were designated for operations- There are some
monies
	set aside for capital, but minimal in comparison to what apparently
was
	suggested in a news story; the Times-Picayune should be releasing a
story
