	This is what I meant by "we 
	shouldn't have an animal shelter".  If they can't be cared for
properly we 
	shouldn't be keeping them in cages.  We need a properly functioning,
working
	
	Animal Control, not one in name only.

I see, and I agree. I remember there was a call out with a job offer for a
director/administrator/fundraiser type position, and I certainly hope that
the funding goes for the right thing, and is, first of all, found.
I certainly dont want to excuse any animal living in filth, I just did not
want to point a finger at one person who tries and gets no help.
I remember an article in which Tina is quoted as saying she needs more
people adopting animals because they are overfilled and may not remain
no-kill, so she is in fact asking for help. 
I am as guilty as the next for not volunteering there, but I too cant fit
anything else into my days just now. 
(I do have several animals at my house, evacuated with them and all)
Wished I could adopt more but we are at a max ourselves.
