Maritime groups want MR – GO open or alternate routes as backups for when lock is inoperable at Industrial Canal, but St. Bernard officials say numerous routes are available and insist on closing ship channel; another public hearing set for 9 a.m. on Sat., May 19 at Nunez College in Chalmette
