Craig pointed out that it has been difficult to find residents who would
like to apply for consideration to various parish boards and commissions
that our charter provides for citizens to participate in the governance of
our parish. I recall posting on this website a messaging urging people to
apply for a planning commission vacancy. I believe many future appointees
are contributing to this website based on the thoughts and comments and
