FEMA REVIEWS TRAILER SALES POLICY 

WASHINGTON - News outlets have printed an Associated Press story indicating
that FEMA intends to continue selling / donating travel trailers.  This is
not accurate.  FEMA officials are reviewing a number of policies related to
travel trailers, including the status of sales and donations.  FEMA intends
to announce interim changes to these policies and will notify the media as
soon as decisions are made.

 

 

FEMA coordinates the federal government's role in preparing for, preventing,
mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all domestic
disasters, whether natural or man-made, including acts of terror.
