if you tell me what poles you are referring to, I will be glad to check into
it for you.  General rule for neighborhood lights is that if it is a metal
pole it is likely the parish and those are the poles that are being worked
on by the lighting contractor.

Your not alone Howard. My neighbors and i have been trying since Nov of 2005
to 
get the street lights back on our street. We have no working lights and half
the 
street is back. Parish tells us its entergy and Entergy tells us its the
parish. 
Its a no win situation.
