ddk....they have replaced the roof on the rectory but nothing has been done
to the priest home.  Doesn't the rental ordinance insure that they go before
the council and seek approval or does this not apply to churches and
businesses.
 
Maybe the arcdiocese believes the the Murphy buffer zone will eventually
extend to Charles drive and they will get more compensation for partially
repaired buildings.

A contractor is installing a new roof on St. Mark Church. Does anyone know
if some organization has leased the property from the Archdiocese, and if
so, who, for what purpose, for how long? I've missed it if there has been
any info on this. I doubt the Archdiocese is spending the money to save the
church  building for the parishioners, but maybe they are. ddk
