"Thus, many will look upon Craig's act as being far worse than Vitter's.
Likewise, when you get right down to it, what people "really" have a problem
with concerning Vitter isn't that he committed an act that just happens to
be illegal where he did it, but he committed a crime against his wife and
family - a moral crime. You see, that's a moral or "feely" crime he's
guilty of. And to many people, like myself, that is more important than
what the law determines to be legal or not. As you imply, he'll one day have
to answer to a higher authority. --John"

**Good perspective, John. Might I add that a life of righteousness or not is
determined not by IF a person sins. WE ALL DO!! Yes, WE DO!!!

The profoundness of a possible solution is this:

If we may use a train and rail as an example, it's not if a train will ever
go off track or have problems moving forward. It's how long it will take to
get the train back on track and moving on to its destination that makes a
difference as to whether the payload gets delivered at all.

If we might substitute the train for humankind, the track for righteousness,
the destination is heaven and the payload is our souls, we can appreciate
whether our viewpoints concerning elected officials (or each individual for
that matter), will get the judgment and rewards deserved or not in
afterlife. If someone here is not a firm believer of an afterlife, I pray
wholeheartedly that it be so whether you want to be included or nay.
