The election stuff is really getting funny.
First we have clowns, and now I come home and find a newspaper page
mudslinging because someone went to the JP instead of police when being
slicked (Stephens on Landry), a candidate blasted by a letter from a guy in
prison (E Edwards on George), Junior turning into Prince Valiant (yes, he
used the word valiantly), and a phone message saying that L. Landry is tired
of being 'Jacked'. Wow. 
Meanwhile C Taffaro is smoothly NOT using his column to sling mud back
(impressively smooth I must say), and the TP this morning has an article
about the candidate for the two 'at large' positions actually saying what
they are planning to do and what their focus is.
I do hope that the candidates above taper down the mud slinging and simply
tell us what they stand for. I dont think we want to vote for the one who
simply is best at being vicious. 
Had to laugh last night by my greeting of mail and ads, but it is really not
so funny to think these are folks we want to trust to work in our best
interest, including that they will represent the ones that lost against
them.
