[StBernard] getting funny

Yup, if one really wanted to dwell/delve into dirty politics, one really
doesn't have to go far away from St. Bernard Parish's elections.

Take JR for instance. Trash-talk is a prime example in his campaign for
President of the parish. I voted for him in his past election, but wouldn't
recommend him for this one.

He takes more cheap shots than a drunk with no money to spend on expensive
whiskey! His newspaper ads look like a "jail-break" in more variations and
sizes than a circus act and the vile/bile coming from his campaign (and of
course, cronies) and "legal advisors" are as crude as his past talk which
got him into lots of trouble in past years.

St. Bernard voters have a lot of thinking ahead before pulling the lever.
For it needs most certainly a new direction and lots of class if it wants to
pull out of the dredges of garbage (both fugitively and in reality).

Even God is disappointed in this election, for sure.

Gaby, what planet are you from? <chuckle, but just kiddin'>.

Oh well, I am from the 'Old Country' where campaigning restricts the
politicians to only talk about themselves and attacks are 'officially'
outlawed.
Of course there are always subtle attack and a lot of sarcasm, but it is
never as obvious as slinging mud directly. The US campaigning has intrigued
me with its 'dirty openenss' for just about three decades now, (moved here
in 1979).
