After recent dealings with the current Clerk's office trying to retrieve
records, if I still lived in the Parish, I would definitely vote for you on
this promise alone!!  Aside from the "moodiness", the clerk's office needs
to arrive in the present---it needs updating.  There should be a convenient
way to order copies of records online.  I am all for you Wendy! --Michelle"

Jer: I sincerely concur with your opinion of Mrs. Torres. In life, most of
us will agree that when it's time to go, ..it's time to go. And although we
do not wish Lena bad health, we have to confirm one thing:

Ms. Lena, it's time to be removed from this office. The office is as bad as
that I've experienced in New Orleans pre-Katrina. Lifeless, "back-woodsy",
really cold environment and one can discern a "whip is being used to keep
parish workers in line". I've experienced Lena Nunez on occasions
"commanding" her crew (and believe me, it wasn't in a "loving, concerned or
diplomatic manner". I was shocked at how business was conducted and the
technology in the office blew me away and with a lasting impression.

Folks, again. It's TIME for a change whether Lena Torres is a nice lady or
not. The office needs an overhaul and most who have experienced problems,
lack of technology, non-efficiency, etc. knows this. 

Yes, St. Bernard's Clerk of office is not perfect--however, we only wish
that it was worse than a root canal getting services and improving quality
experiences felt by so many.
