BASKETBALL REGISTRATION 

Registration for St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department basketball teams
has been extended through Jan. 12, when games begin. Age groups for boys and
girls are 7 to 8, 9 to 10 and 11 to 12. 

Parents can sign up children from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Parish
Information Center behind the St. Bernard Parish government complex, 8201 W.
Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette, or at practice sessions being held. 

Boys will practice at the Sammy Frichter Gym, 7200-A Alexander Ave., Arabi,
and girls at the Paul Noel Gym at the School Board administrative office,
201 E. St. Bernard Highway, Chalmette. 

Practice sessions for boys and girls ages 7 to 12 will be Monday and
Thursday. The practices are at 6 p.m. for boys and girls ages 7 to 8, 7 p.m.
for ages 9 to 10, and 8 p.m. for ages 11 to 12.
